Spring Clean Up List

This month the AERC members will walk around the neighborhood looking at houses the way a neighbor would. Obvious discrepancies will be noted and a letter will be sent to the homeowner suggesting that the observed item or items be added to homeowner’s Spring Clean Up list. AERC members will restrict their viewing to that from the street. Here are some of the things they will look for:

Driveway – bulges from tree roots, grass growing in cracks, crumbling sections

Trees – dead limbs, torn off or broken limbs, dead trees

Bushes – overgrown, broken off sections, dead bushes

House – mildew, missing or broken siding/shutters/shingles

Fences – missing or broken posts or rails

Landscaping – broken outdoor items, soil erosion, lawn with large bare spots

Garage – doors with peeling paint, or rotting wood

AERC Goes Electronic

The AERC announced in the newsletter that it will receive, process and return applications electronically. After a 6 month trial period, costs were lower for the HOA and turn around time for homeowners were dramatically lowered – from 30-45 days down to 5-7 days.

End of meeting.
