Common Area
Has MTM added this to our lawn contract? The grass area between Villisca and Monona Terrace has some trees that use to be in a garden of mulch. The edging has disappeared and weeds have grown up in the area under the trees. It certainly would look nice it the area was edged and mulched again.
This month the Committee will discuss changes to the AERC Guidelines which were approved in November 2005. The upcoming HOA Newsletter has an article about this review and solicits ideas and input from all homeowners. The AERC currently has 5 items on the agenda to discuss as possible Guidelines.
Additional guidance on installation of solar panels
Guidance on driveway repair or replacement
Guidance on chimney repair or replacement
Guidance on disability ramps (no-step access)
Add back the diagram on pipestem houses and forward projected area
When our review is complete, we will publish the new Guideline sections in a Newsletter (or letter from MTM) inviting homeowner comment. The following month the AERC will present the changes to the Board for their approval (requires a vote).
