The AERC held its April meeting electronically and reviewed 3 applications.

Common Area

The grass area between Villisca and Monona Terrace has some trees that use to be in a garden of mulch. The edging has disappeared and weeds have grown up in the area under the trees. It certainly would look nice it the area was edged and mulched again. Perhaps that can be added to our lawn contract, like the common area at the other end of Monona Terrace.


Spring Clean up

AERC members conducted the annual spring inspection that was announced to all homeowners through a direct mailing from MTM. We made sure area assignments included double coverage and that any discrepancy had the concurrence of at least two committee members. These discrepancies were written on the forms and MTM is sending them out 22 letters to homeowners.

Homeowner Letter

A letter was written to 15521 Grinnell Terrace about the table food scraps being dumped at the curb. Homeowner says it is for the birds and small animals. Committee view is that it is garbage that draws rats, flies, bacteria and disease. If homeowner continues the practice, the AERC will file a complaint with the County.
