Community Safety Committee

The Community Safety Committee has gone dormant. We maintain some contacts with local law authorities as events require.

The Community Safety Committee (CSC) is about neighbors helping neighbors maintain a safe neighborhood. The CSC works to address aspects of individual and community safety, including requesting maintenance when street lights malfunction, providing alerts via email and flyers regarding criminal activity in the neighborhood, interfacing with the Montgomery County Police Department (MCPD), and running the Neighborhood Watch vehicle patrols.

Participation in patrols by every homeowner is necessary to make this program a success. It only requires 2 hours per household a couple times a year. We hope you will consider joining the CSC and joining the Neighborhood Watch. By getting involved, you can make a difference!

Where to go for more information or to volunteer:

Joining the CSC is a great way to get involved in your community and make a difference. There are many ways to get involved with the CSC and with the Neighborhood Watch program. More information is available on these pages, you can contact Shawn Grammer, the CSC chair by clicking here, or check out the latest Hollybrooke newsletter.

Join the Hollybrooke Email Alert List:

On occasion, burglaries, serious vandalism, or suspicious events occur in the neighborhood that warrant alerting homeowners. The email alert list is used to notify the neighborhood quickly of such events. If you would like to join the list or would like to report an event, please email the CSC Chair.
