Treasurer's report - George:

• Fee increase
  • Review of cash status, and YTD divergences from budget projections. Note no fee increase since 2007 budget year
  • Discussion of fee increase in light of cash on hand and Capital Reserve amounts
  • 5.6% increase would bring in some $3200/year, house fees would go up from $107 to $113, and townhouse fees from $178 to $188 semi-annually
  • Vote 3: motion to raise fees approximately 5.6%
• CD merger under MS/SB
  • Discussion of merging external CD's into Morgan Stanley CD's to allow a single monthly report to cover all our capital reserves.
  • This would merge about $80,000 into the MSSB system. Currently we have about $120,000 under MSSB and $80,000 external to that. MSSB charges us a low annual set fee.
  • MSSB puts out a consolidated monthly statement, while the external CDs have minimal visibility on the monthly income and expenses statement. Also merging them would allow for easier term laddering.
  • Is there any issue with penalties or insurable deposit limits, since we are near $200,000 total?
  • Vote 4: motion to allow merger of external CD's into MSSB control

Landscaping Committee report - Alex/Keith

• Tree issues:
  • Status of contact with County tree maintenance?
  • Replanting of empty spots along Indianola Dr. -status?

  • Timeline for changes this growing season?
